SMARTS presents “The Band,” Rock Band, Grades 4-12 (Simon Kenneally)
“The Band” is a student-led Rock Band that composes and demonstrates their own music. They are always seeking more band members and experimenting with the type of songs and sounds they can create. In this class, students will have the aid of a professional musician and songwriter to assist in song creation and sound composition. This class will build a fuller appreciation of music creation, teamwork, and what it takes to actually record a hit song and perform live! Join “The Band” if you are proficient in playing any instrument, enjoy songwriting, or enjoy singing. Let’s see what we can create together!
