SMARTS Street Photography, Grades 4-12 (Vincent Shivers)
Photography is far more than just snapping pictures. In order to take photos like a photographer, you have to think about light, subject, and composition. How are the objects in your photo are arranged? What will your audience see and did you use the best direction or angle for your photo? How do you best capture a moment? When is the correct time to snap? We will work as a group snapping pictures of the Local Downtown Youngstown area. We will analyze our photos together as a class, to inform and enhance our skills. If you want to take amazing photos, love cityscapes or landscapes, this is the class for you! Feel free to bring your own camera, phone or iPad. SMARTS has a few devices available for student use.
