SMARTS String Exploration 2, Grades 3-12 |Jasmine Tunac
Week # 3| June 20, 21, 22, 23
This is a workshop to strengthen foundation, techniques and skill. Students will learn how to musically listen and play the violin. We will also introduce the cello and learn basic technique and posture. We will play strength building games, exercises and warm ups while being exposed to different genres and arrangements. We will learn to play in an ensemble, introduce elements of music theory, and arrange notes to create our own songs. If you own a violin or cello, bring it with you! We will also have instruments available for student use. Students must bring their own labeled lunch and drink.
