SMARTS Redeveloped Masterpieces, Grades 4-8 (Jennifer Carlson)
This is a challenge class for creatives. In this class, students will study classic works of art, select popular works to recreate, then recreate them in any medium or style. Students are encouraged to use photography/props, 2D or 3D design, or a range of different mediums. Recreate the work as a painting in a different style or recreate it as a black and white charcoal drawing. The choice of medium and style is all yours! As long as you recreate a work of art and make it your own, you have found the goal of this class.
