The Joy of SMARTS
JOIN US as we celebrate with art, music, & merriment to support SMARTS in honor of the legacy of our friend & past SMARTS Circle member, Joy White. Bid on your favorite works from local & regional artists, hear live acoustic music by the Labra Brothers, watch a demonstration on the potter’s wheel by Elena Labra (SMARTS artist-in-residence), & purchase art & swag from the SMARTS Store. This is an adult event so be ready to enjoy light appetizers & a cash bar featuring a bourbon taste, wine, & Modern Methods Brewing Company!

SMARTS Featured Artist: Don Williams
Don Williams was a YSU graduate and a member of the WKBN-TV team for 44 years. His work was once displayed in the Butler Art Institute and was placed in juried exhibitions where he won several awards.
Don’s paintings showcase his carpentry skills as he made unique canvases that ranged in size and shape. He combined realism and abstract design to create paintings with great detail and stunning visual effects. SMARTS is grateful to his wife, Sheila Williams who has donated a great portion of his collection to SMARTS.
