SMARTS Family Ceramic Jewelry, Grades K-12 & Family

Description

SMARTS Family Ceramic Jewelry, Grades K-12 & Family (Marguerite Paul)

Clay is one of the oldest materials used to create art. It is a fun and interesting medium with unlimited potential. You will draw inspiration from historical accessories, contemporary jewelry, and our everyday environment to design creative jewelry for yourself or as gifts. You will learn how to create clay charms, beads, and pendants and learn many interesting techniques for adding detail and flair! We will then fire the clay and learn about adding color to our pieces with under-glaze, and glazes. Then assemble our accessories with our clay charms to make necklaces, bracelets, earrings, pins, hair clips, and even home decor such as wind chimes! Create wearable ART!
