Artful Leadership: Artists Lead the Way

Join us on Wednesday, November 20 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Basilica of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel for the annual SMARTS Family Dinner! We will celebrate SMARTS' 27th year in the community by exploring the role of art in our own lives. The SMARTS Family Dinner includes raffles, 50/50, and many exciting SMARTS demonstrations... all served with a delicious spaghetti dinner! Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children. (You must purchase a ticket to attend this event.)

Our theme, Artful Leadership: Artists Lead the Way, invites you to explore how and where the arts have navigated you throughout your life. Leadership, much like art, involves crafting something innovative and inspiring, connecting both the heart and the mind. It's about viewing the world from fresh perspectives and guiding others to do the same. This leadership style demands vision, creativity, patience, the courage to experiment, and the skill to communicate and connect with people. 

SMARTS' arts education leadership in our community allows both hearts and minds to enable our students, families, and partners to engage, interact, and thrive. Our evening together will allow us to share highlights from this past year of SMARTS staff, students, families, and partners making this magic happen. Join us to explore the places that art has led us all, and the evening may just inspire you to create, design, or explore something new!
