Fall Kick Off

Fall Kick Off

Join us Wednesday, August 26, from 5:00-7:00pm! During the Fall Kick Off, children and their accompanying adults will have the opportunity to explore SMARTS’ five arts disciplines: visual art, music, dance, theater, and creative writing. Each activity will give participants a taste of what SMARTS has to offer during the Fall Semester, which begins September 15. Guests will also discover how the arts and virtual reality come together through YBI’s Explore VR Youth Virtual Reality Program.

This fun-filled evening will give families the chance to experience SMARTS firsthand, explore new creative interests, and kick off the Fall Semester with the arts!

Art You Can See, Art You Can Hear

Celebrate creativity in action at SMARTS’ Spring 2027 Student Showcases! Art You Can See and Art You Can Hear highlight the growth, imagination, and dedication of our students over the 9-week spring semester.
Art You Can See (April 13) features student work in visual art, dance, theater, and creative writing. This multidisciplinary showcase brings together finished artworks, original writing, and live performance—sharing what students have been creating with family, friends, and the community.
Art You Can Hear (April 14) showcases music students as they perform skills developed over eight weeks of instruction. Enjoy live performances on violin, cello, guitar, piano, and with the SMARTS Rock Band, celebrating musical growth at every level.
Join us in cheering on our students and experiencing the joy of creativity, expression, and accomplishment. These showcases are a celebration of learning, community, and the courage it takes to share your art.

SMARTS Art You Can See and Hear are free events, open to the public.
