So long, Rocky Mountains!
Doug Smith has resumed the Going The Distance for SMARTS trek across America on his bike, “Cassie”. Over the weekend, Doug made some steep climbs through the thin air of Going To The Sun Road in Glacier National Park and beyond through the tailwinds of flatter Montana lands. He’s about halfway through the state now and landed in Havre yesterday after doing his first 100-mile-day. Doug has gotten the chance to meet other cyclists and locals along the way. Some have even pledged to donate after hearing about SMARTS and all the great arts education we provide. Can we count on you too?
Now that Doug will be racking up the miles, it’s a good time to visit our web site at https://smarts.tunahelper.net/smarts/going-the-distance-for-smarts-donation/ and DONATE BY THE MILE! $5 = each mile so please donate for 1, 5, 10, 20, or more miles. Let’s all keep him on pace.
