Celebrating Youth Arts Month with First Friday Youngstown at SMARTS

In collaboration with the Downtown Youngstown Partnership and Youngstown CityScape, we're excited to recognize Youth Arts Month by hosting March's First Friday event at our home in the historic Ohio One Building downtown. For March, the theme is "Celebrating Young Artists of the Mahoning Valley." This free family-friendly event will showcase the many arts organizations within the Youngstown area, spotlighting our youth. This is your chance to see performances from the Youngstown Playhouse Youth Theatre, Ballet Western Reserve, our own SMARTS Rock Band, and more -- all under one roof.

In addition to stellar performances, enjoy food from one of our amazing downtown restaurants and a beverage or wine from our cash bar. We'd like to thank The Varsity Club for providing delicious eats for our evening! There will also be make-and-take crafts for all ages, a collaborative community art project, and live painting by one of our Community Teaching Artists, Will Duck.
